• Features of the town include the 12th century Vieux Chateau* (below), the fountain built on the central crossroads (La Fontaine de l’Envol), the Town Hall, the war memorial and the Tourist Office based in the former railway station.

 

• Le Neubourg offers its inhabitants, and the rural environment, the services of a town of much greater status and its modern motto is ‘une ville qui avance’ – ‘a town which goes forward’.
