Sports facilities are available in the Hippodrome complex which encompasses a vélodrome for the cycling club, football training pitches, with artificial turf, for the 250 members of the football club and a pistehippiquefor the annual horse trotting race. The football and athletics stadium has been refurbished and the Haut-Phare complex provides a swimming pool, gym, sports rooms and community hall.
Cultural facilities include a multimedia library, the Universitie Populaire, the Viking cinema, and the Anatomy museum featuring unusual anatomical constructions of Dr Auzoux whose models are found worldwide.
